Dr Firozah Shariati BDS
Firozah graduated from the University of Dundee, Scotland in 1992 and has practised widely in the UK and Australia in both public and private practice. Firozah has been a partner in Roma Street Dental since 2007. She has a particular interest in preventative and general restorative dentistry.
Outside of work Firozah enjoys bush-walking, tennis, and yoga. She is also accomplished in several styles of Latin American dancing.
Dr David Ewen BDS
David graduated from the University of Otago, NZ in 1977, and has practised in New Zealand, South Africa and Australia. He enjoys establishing long term relationships with his patients and now has many multi-generational families amongst his patient base.
In his spare time David enjoys travelling off the beaten track and while at home loves to spend time socialising with family and friends and gardening.
Dr Cheryl Liew BDS
Cheryl graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1996. Cheryl has particular interests in preventive, cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry and has successfully completed several training courses in this area. Cheryl is accredited by the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics in the use of non-surgical methods of treating bruxism, TMD, gummy smiles, as well as wrinkle reduction and facial rejuvination.
When not practicing dentistry Cheryl devotes much of her time to her two energetic, young sons.
Dr Kathleen Ling BDS
Kathleen graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2007. After a period of private practice in South Australia, Kathleen joined Roma Street Dental in 2011.
Kathleen enjoys general dentistry, including restorative, preventive, root canal treatment, as well as treating children. She also has a particular interest in aesthetic composite resin build ups as a minimally invasive option for improving and transforming smiles and is a qualified Invisalign provider.
Kathleen is a proud mum to her son and is fluent in Mandarin, Malay and Foochow dialect.
Dr Arthur Low BDS
Arthur graduated from Griffith University in Queensland, and has been working in private practice for the last three years.
Arthur has particular interests in preventative and aesthetic dentistry and takes a holistic approach to dentistry, looking beyond teeth to improve the overall health outcome of each patient. He has attended a mini-residency in Sleep Apnoea, Bruxism and TMD, and would be more than happy to help you in those areas.
Outside of work, Arthur volunteers his time by providing free dental services to refugee migrants through the Tzu Chi Foundation and is a keen member of the SES. He also loves food and travelling and is always open to food recommendations. As well as English Arthur also speaks Mandarin and Malay.
Our amazing support team
Our dentists are supported by a fantastic team of in-surgery and administrative staff who ensure our patients are made welcome and ensures the practice runs as smoothly as possible. Our support staff are fully trained in the processes and procedures required to work in an environment requiring the highest standards in hygiene. Amongst other things they are responsible for the preparation of treatment rooms, sterilisation of instruments, managing patient bookings and invoicing of patients.
